Job Summary
Assist clients with light physical exercise, planning meals, and mobility while handling light housekeeping and reminding them to take medications. Provide pleasant companionship, accompany clients on shopping trips, and report health changes or respond quickly to emergencies. Ensure all care aligns with custom plans, dietary constraints, and state safety standards. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and two years of professional caregiving experience. First aid training is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Minimum 2 Years Professional Caregiving Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
