Job Summary
Part Time Head Cashier at Lowe's responsible for delivering SMART customer service, assisting customers in locating and selecting merchandise, processing transactions at the cash register, price matching, and providing information on stock, warranties, and Lowe's programs. The role involves coaching and training associates, maintaining register functionality and store safety, handling security-related tasks, assisting with line coverage and opening/closing procedures, operating store equipment, and upholding housekeeping and safety standards. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and retail cashier experience; ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology
- 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- 1 Year Supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees
