Job Summary
Part-time Head Cashier at Lowe's with supervision responsibilities for Front End Team, coaching and training associates, and delivering SMART customer service. Duties include operating cash registers, processing sales, returns, and refunds; assisting customers across multiple registers; opening/closing registers; ensuring safety and compliance; pricing and price matching; providing product information, warranties, and services; guiding customers to merchandise; monitoring for shoplifting, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. Requires retail cashier experience, supervisory experience, strong customer service, ability to multitask across registers, and basic computer/retail tech proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees
- High school diploma or equivalent
