Job Summary
Part Time Head Cashier at Lowe's responsible for providing SMART customer service at all times, handling cash transactions, assisting customers with locating and loading merchandise, answering questions, guiding customers through stock and warranty information, coaching and training associates, price matching and order processing, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, operating store equipment, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. The role includes handling register duties, security procedures, and helping ensure efficient checkout coverage and proper documentation of loading tickets and receipts, while leveraging knowledge of Lowe's programs and policies and supporting team development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
- Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- 1 Year Supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees
- 1 Year Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, protection plans, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits
