Job Summary
Part-time role responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms in a hotel. Duties include cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors; stripping and making beds and changing linens (up to 50 lbs); dusting furniture; vacuuming and emptying trash; replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies; retrieving and restocking heavy cart; signing for and delivering room keys; visually inspecting rooms for cleanliness. Requirements include English communication, a self-starting and team-oriented attitude, professional appearance, guest-facing communication, willingness to assist coworkers, and knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment
