Job Summary
Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry, and measure cleaning agents according to specifications. Monitor feeder information on washers, report irregularities to the supervisor, and set proper drying and cooling times for different linen types. Lift wet articles into wringers and driers, sort dried items by identification number or type, and fold them into appropriate storage bins. Ensure cleanliness of equipment and the surrounding work area while complying with attendance rules to work on a regular scheduled basis.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents
- Operation of various cleaning equipment
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Must be available to work on a regular scheduled basis
