Job Summary
Part-Time Groundskeeper responsible for mowing, weed eating, brush clearing, and trash pick-up. Will assist full-time staff with FMC tasks including class clean-up (e.g., cleaning the lunchroom), hay removal from hay-burning projects, and equipment storage. May assist other programs such as Industrial, SCBA, Mechanics, and Extinguishers with facilities and class operations. Position is part-time/temporary with a 3-position availability in College Station, TX; pays $18.00 per hour. Requires a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent), at least six months of related grounds maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days. Equivalency: degree may substitute for experience. The role is with TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service) and is security-sensitive with criminal history checks. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six months of related experience in grounds maintenance
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Equivalency: Will consider a degree from an accredited college or university in lieu of experience
