Job Summary
Maintain the exterior landscape and amenities of the Pelican Cove apartment community by sweeping sidewalks, managing dumpster areas, and clearing vacant units before make-ready. Operate power equipment to complete assigned landscaping duties while ensuring all exterior lighting functions correctly and bulbs are changed as needed. Keep the pool, hot tub, dog spa, fitness center, and dog park clean and presentable. Complete required safety checks, maintain up-to-date logs, and adhere to all safety policies and Fair Housing regulations. This role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting over 50 lbs frequently in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, shovel, and lift over 50lbs frequently
- Physically able to operate power equipment
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ months of grounds keeping, pool service, or cleaning experience preferred
- CPO preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Great attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to achieve results individually
- Enjoys outdoor work
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
