Job Summary
Check and replace exterior lighting, maintain pools if certified, and physically walk the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings. Perform trash out duties in vacated apartments, transfer items to dumpsters, and keep sidewalks and breezeways clear using a blower. Assist with make-ready duties, routine maintenance, painting, lock changes, and key duplication as requested by the Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor. Distribute resident communications and perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties. Maintain neat grounds by raking, sweeping, and shoveling as circumstances warrant. Complete minor routine service requests and additional tasks assigned by management. Requires high school diploma, ability to lift 25 pounds, and willingness to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents employees and prospects
- Ability to think logically and follow standardized procedures
- Ability to get along well with others
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- If certified for pool maintenance, cleans and maintains pool as directed
