Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, receive and stock dry goods, beverages, and household items, and rotate back stock on a first-in, first-out basis. Handle products according to time and temperature guidelines, maintain accurate signage with the Grocery Department Head, and assist the front end by scanning groceries, completing transactions, and bagging items. This part-time role involves up to 24 hours per week, including Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts from 12pm to 8:30pm. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and work in cold environments. Kimberton Whole Foods offers a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching contributions after one year and 1,000 hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Part-time, up to 24 hours per week
- Thursdays 12pm-8:30pm
- Fridays 12pm-8:30pm
- Saturdays 12pm-8:30pm
- Must be 18 years or older
- Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell)
- Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products
- Stooping, squatting, & kneeling
- Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas
- Standing- prolonged standing
- movement based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting)
- ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis
