Part Time Golf Maintenance - Level 1

Job Summary
Perform routine building and golf course maintenance duties, including cleaning restrooms, picking up litter, and operating hand tools, rakes, shovels, mowers, tractors, and blowers. Arrive on time in uniform, communicate with supervisors and staff, and ensure work areas remain organized and safe. Adhere to all safety policies, report unsafe conditions, and follow procedures for opening or closing the facility. Work an average of 20-40 hours per week Monday through Sunday on a variable schedule approved by the Golf Course Supt. This role supports the Zion Park District's maintenance goals under the supervision of the Golf Course Supt.
Required Qualifications
- Some knowledge of building and ground maintenance practices
- Working knowledge of pertinent safety precautions
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work a variable schedule
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal communications
- Ability to recognize and demonstrate sound safety measures
- Ability to reason; process information and make informed rational judgements
