Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor vital signs, document medical information accurately using electronic health record systems, and report changes in patient condition promptly. Support medication administration under supervision while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Assist with clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, aseptic techniques, and infection control practices within acute or long-term care environments. This paid part-time position at Turtle Creek Rehabilitation and Wellness Center requires a valid Geriatric Nurses Assistant license and strong physical stamina for patient lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Geriatric Nurses Assistant license (GNA)
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting patients with Hoyer lifts and assisting with mobility while maintaining proper body mechanics
