Job Summary
Execute event preparation, stadium set-ups, tear downs, conversions, field painting, and grounds maintenance including snow clearing, weeding, and mowing. Operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment while assisting with upkeep and training seasonal staff. Provide direction and coordinate hourly personnel in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and strong communication. Work flexible hours from 8 to 40 hours weekly, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, with the ability to lift 30lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evenings, overnights, weekends, and some holidays based on event schedules
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and work within tight timelines
- Ability to work with limited supervision and have a positive attitude
- A strong work ethic, an eye for detail and able to work flexibly in terms of responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, including strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously while working in all types of weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with operating and maintaining equipment with small engines preferred
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willing to learn new skills
