Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for delivering food services to Centre clients, including stocking and maintaining a continental breakfast and preparing and serving lunch and evening meals from an approved menu. Duties require proper labeling and storage of all food and maintaining kitchen and storage areas in compliance with regulatory statutes and the FDA Food Code. The role offers flexible hours and hands-on training, with bonuses up to $5,000 for full-time and $2,500 for part-time employees, payout after probation and after one year if requirements are met. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED and preferred one year of experience in food services. Center serves clients referred through government contracts and emphasizes ongoing training in core practices and corrections-related skills.
