Job Summary
Part Time fulfillment role at Lowe's focusing on picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders with emphasis on safety and equipment certification. Responsibilities include operating powered equipment (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck), maintaining inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS, collaborating with leadership, completing audits and locker management, and delivering customer-first service with strong communication and teamwork. May be assigned other duties to support business needs. Requires computer and retail technology experience and certified or certifiable powered equipment operation. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED and retail/customer fulfillment experience in hardware/home improvement settings.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
