Job Summary
Fulfillment Associate responsibilities include picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time, maintaining clean and safe staging areas, delivering excellent service, operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck), using the Orders App and SIMS to support inventory accuracy, and collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks. The role requires strong communication and teamwork, willingness to perform administrative tasks (audits, order follow-ups, locker management), and readiness to report safety or theft concerns. May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
