Job Summary
Fulfillment Associate in a part-time role at Lowe's in Winterville, NC, responsible for picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders on time, maintaining safe and organized staging areas, operating and maintaining powered equipment (forklift, order picker, narrow aisle reach truck) with certification, ensuring inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS, collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks, and performing related administrative and readiness tasks. Emphasizes customer-first service, strong communication, teamwork, safety compliance, and flexibility to take on additional duties as needed. Includes maintaining audits, order follow-ups, locker management, and reporting safety or theft concerns.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
