Job Summary
Fulfillment-focused role at Lowe's requiring picking, staging, inspecting, and accurately fulfilling customer orders in a part-time capacity. Responsibilities include maintaining clean and safe staging areas, providing high-quality customer service, routing questions to the right associates, operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck), using the Orders App for inventory accuracy, complying with SIMS, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks. Duties include performing audits, order follow-ups, locker management, reporting safety or theft concerns, and completing administrative tasks as needed. Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, with a willingness to take on additional duties as needed. Prefer High school diploma or GED and prior retail experience, plus experience in customer service or product fulfillment at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related departments. Certified equipment usage is required or must be obtained.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
