Job Summary
Part-time Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's in Corpus Christi, TX. Responsibilities include picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders, keeping staging areas clean and safe, delivering high-quality service by selecting items, validating orders, and directing customers to appropriate associates, operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment (forklift, order picker, narrow aisle reach truck), following all safety requirements, supporting inventory accuracy with the Orders App and SIMS compliance, and collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks. Additional duties may include completing administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks (audits, order follow-ups, locker management) and reporting safety or theft concerns promptly. Requires 6 months of computer experience and 6 months of retail technology experience, plus powered equipment certification. Emphasizes a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and teamwork; may be assigned other duties to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
- Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED
