Job Summary
Part Time Fulfillment Associate roles involve picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include maintaining clean and safe staging areas, providing excellent service by guiding customers and connecting them with the right associates, operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck), following safety requirements, supporting inventory accuracy with the Orders App and SIMS compliance, collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks, completing administrative and readiness tasks (audits, order follow-ups, locker management), and reporting safety or theft concerns. The role emphasizes customer-first communication and teamwork, with potential for additional duties as needed. Qualifications include basic computer usage (6 months), familiarity with retail tech (6 months), mandatory powered equipment certification, and a high school diploma or GED (preferred). Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
