Job Summary
Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately while maintaining staging areas. Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment including forklifts and order pickers, adhering to all safety requirements. Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App and resolving short picks with leadership. Complete administrative tasks such as audits and locker management, reporting safety or theft concerns promptly. This role requires 6 months of computer and retail technology experience, plus specific powered equipment certification. You may be assigned other duties to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months of Retail experience
- 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
- 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
