Job Summary
Part-Time Freelance Social Media Producer/Editor for NASCAR on USA Network. Responsible for day-to-day content management and coverage of NASCAR on USA social channels; clip segments from live events and studio shows; collaborate with digital video producers to identify content for distribution; maintain voice and content standards across platforms; support branded content campaigns; drive engagement and follower growth; work with talent, production, and editorial teams for in-studio and on-site content creation; contribute to cross-functional planning, brainstorming, and strategy adjustments; manage multiple projects with parallel timelines; strong knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook), KPI tracking, and Adobe Creative Suite; requires a BA/BS and at least 3 years of relevant experience, work authorization in the United States, and flexibility for weekends/evenings.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS from a four-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
- Minimum of (3) years of experience producing and distributing content end-to-end for digital and social media platforms
- Experience and proficiency in all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook)
- Experience with a variety of social and project management tools (Sprout Social, Airtable, Monday.com, etc.)
- Able to track and leverage KPIs, while understanding the rapidly-changing social media landscape
- Skilled with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
- Extensive knowledge of sports and internet culture
- Strong copy editing skills, ability to self-edit your own work
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Creative thinker who can look at digital trends and find innovative ways to tell a story in a piece of content
- Must have work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news.
