Job Summary
Operate machinery and equipment to transform raw materials into final high-quality products, including packaging. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area while ensuring all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production. Comply with safety processes and insist on safety practices for self and others. Multi-task to keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment, showing up on time and completing tasks by deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned under the direction of Leads and Management. This part-time role within the Omnium business involves flexible hours between 16-29 hours per week, supporting the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products for customers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- 6+ months of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience
