Job Summary
Assist with lunch meal preparation (including sandwich making & bagging, fruit, salad & hot veggie), restock serving lines, clean work areas, wash dishes, and restock all areas as needed. Operate cash register/POS during lunch service, cashier or serve or restock line, and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb repetitiously, work as part of a team, and maintain HACCP-based food handling practices. HS diploma or equivalent required; prior cash register experience or ability to learn. Hours typically from 9:45 am to 1:30 pm with potential extra hours; part-time role at Mt. Healthy Jr/Sr High School.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lb repetitiously
- Must be able to read and perform mathematical equations
- Must be able to operate cash register/POS
- Knowledge of Safe Food handling and kitchen sanitation (HACCP)
- Must be able to work as a team
- Must have previous cash register experience or the ability to learn
- Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
