Job Summary
Part-time Floor Leader at Lush Cosmetics Old Orchard Center. On the shop floor, lead and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed goals, coach the sales team using store metrics, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver world-class customer experience. Drive store initiatives aligned with Lush brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Ethical Buying) and support management in sales, training, and operational tasks such as cash handling, opening/closing, and daily store maintenance. Role focuses on coaching, training, and motivating staff to create a positive, productive environment and exceptional customer experience, with responsibilities across sales, customer experience, team development, and DEIB-related initiatives. Weekly schedule reflects 20-29 hours with a part-time arrangement in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
- Problem-solving skills in day-to-day customer service operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
