Job Summary
Drive store sales and lead a team of sales associates on the shop floor, utilizing StoreForce dashboard results to coach staff and adjust shop structure to meet goals. Manage cash handling, including opening/closing registers, reconciling drawers, and preparing nightly deposits, while maintaining a clean, organized visual merchandising display. Train peers on sales techniques and product knowledge, ensure staff compliance with health and safety policies, and foster an inclusive culture through open communication and DEIB initiatives. Work 20-29 hours weekly across evenings, weekends, and holidays. This part-time role supports Lush's mission of ethical, handmade cosmetics and community engagement through store parties and brand advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures
- Minimum 1 year of experience in supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
- Minimum 1 year of experience in problem-solving issues related to customer service in day-to-day operations
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Experience analyzing sales metrics
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages
