Part-Time Floating Teller <20 hrs/wk (East Metro)

Job Summary
Process cash deposits, verify checks for endorsements, and cash checks after confirming signatures and balances. Enter customer transactions into the computer, issue receipts, and image daily batches while maintaining accurate records of money and negotiable instruments. Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer, order daily cash supplies, and remove deposits from automated teller machines. Assist customers with service inquiries, promote bank products, and file new account paperwork while adhering to State and Federal Banking regulations. Available to work 1-19 hours weekly including Saturday morning rotation, with flexibility to travel to all bank locations using personal transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous cash, sales and/or customer service experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
