Job Summary
The Teller is the face of LMCU, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming member experience while accurately processing a high volume of transactions. Responsibilities include promoting a positive member experience to aid retention, identifying member needs, offering information about products and services, handling deposits/withdrawals/transfers/loan payments/traceable checks, balancing the cash drawer, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements, applying risk management and fraud-prevention practices, and referring members to appropriate products and services. The role emphasizes accurate transaction processing, security protocols, and contributing to branch goals through product promotion and excellent service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- One to three years of similar or related experience (preferred)
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of financial products and services (preferred)
