Job Summary
Assess patient health problems, develop nursing care plans, and administer IV chemotherapy while monitoring for reactions and side effects. Maintain accurate medical records, vital signs, and treatment plans, coordinating with the healthcare team to evaluate patient responses. Prepare patients for examinations, sterilize instruments, and provide patient and family education on disease prevention. Comply with safety regulations and supervise less-skilled personnel as needed. Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing with at least one year of experience, an Alabama RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Part-time float role in a clinical office setting within north Alabama's leading cancer treatment facility.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Alabama RN license
- at least (1) year experience in Nursing
