Job Summary
Report to assigned client sites across the portfolio, including SOC, Aviation, and JM Lexus assignments. Deter criminal activity and misconduct at each post while responding to alarms, distress calls, and emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and local emergency response teams. Conduct periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and mechanical problems. Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports for each site worked, operating access control systems and utilizing computer software for incident documentation. Demonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining reasonable availability for shift offers based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid FL Security D License
- Valid FL Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
- Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
- Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
- Willingness and ability to work across multiple client sites and shifts based on operational need
- Ability to maintain reasonable availability for shift offers
- Two years of customer service experience
- One year of security experience
- Law enforcement experience
- Corrections experience
- Military experience
Desired Qualifications
- Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
