Job Summary
Monitor premises to prevent theft or infractions by thoroughly examining doors, windows, and gates for proper function. Warn violators of rules, address suspicious or criminal acts, and report facility issues while requesting emergency personnel for high-risk situations. Cover 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts across multiple locations with frequent schedule changes, requiring open availability to answer the Operations Manager for job or schedule adjustments. Must commit to weekends and travel frequently to various sites. Earn $18.00 per hour with mileage and time travel pay, plus time-and-a-half for short-notice calls on days off. Obtain a WI State Security Officer License and pass background and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Current Driver's License and a good driving record
- Must have reliable transportation as you will be traveling to multiple sites
- Must be able to obtain WI State Security Officer License
- Must pass background check
- Must pass on-site drug test at time of hire
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to be professional in all settings
- Must be able to have open availability
- Must be responsible and dependable
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license
- Must not have any felonies per Wisconsin DSPS Private Security License requirements
- Must commit to 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd shift
- Must be flexible within the weekends to cover available shifts
- Must be able to answer to the Operations Manager when called for a job or schedule change
