Job Summary
Part Time Fitness Ambassador role focused on member engagement and a welcoming club atmosphere. Responsibilities include greeting members, being visible on the fitness floor, assisting with check-ins, promoting programs and events, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and building rapport with members. Requires 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent; no certification required initially but certification (NCSF) is encouraged and must be completed within 90 days of hire. Starting pay ranges from $12.50/hour (uncertified) to $13.00/hour (certified), with growth opportunities into trainer or management paths.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18+
- Must complete fitness training certification (NCSF) and manufacturer specific equipment training within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to perform and demonstrate a wide range of exercises, including strength, cardio, and flexibility movements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (often 4–8 hours) while engaging with members on the fitness floor
- Capability to lift, move, and safely adjust fitness equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
