Job Summary
Greet customers on the sales floor, deliver personalized service by engaging shoppers, and recommend appropriate products while promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card. Grow personal sales by consistently hitting set goals and maintaining high visual merchandising standards. Support the team with freight processing, inventory restocking, and training new associates in store expertise. Navigate handheld inventory scanners and Microsoft Office programs to manage daily operations. Attend all required product training and store meetings. This part-time role requires daytime and evening availability, including two weekends per month, with an average of 20-25 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 hourly, based on a combination of base wage and estimated commission potential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of sales experience
- Daytime and evening availability required (to include two weekends per month)
- Average 20-25 hours per week
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to demonstrate product usage within their shop and retrieve product from heights of greater than 6 ft
- Ability to navigate a personal computer and a handheld inventory computer/scanner
- Programs include: Microsoft Office, Google Email / Docs, and AS400
