Job Summary
Conduct Safety Evaluations and Testing of Equipment in field installation settings, including Field Labeling Evaluations per SGS CRS US requirements. Review pre-evaluation documents, execute inspections within assigned time frames and cost estimates, and deliver well-written field evaluation reports with required documentation. Effectively communicate results with customers, review non-compliance responses, and submit final travel and expense costs. Adhere to internal standards and policies while prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment. Requires travel within and outside the US up to 50 to 75% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical field with minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Technical degree or equivalent training and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Able to travel within and outside the US up to approximately 50 to 75% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code, UL and NFPA Safety Standards, SEMI S2 Safety Standards
- Knowledge of European Machinery and Low Voltage Directives and supporting standards such as EN 60204 and Functional Safety Standards
