Job Summary
Hands-on Feed Mill Attendant / Assistant role focusing on handling, stacking, and loading/unloading feed products, operating forklifts/pallet jacks, and maintaining the feed room. Tasks include inspecting feed bags for proper labeling and weight, operating mill equipment safely, cross-training to assist with propane tank filling, and following safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must wear appropriate attire and safety equipment as required
- Comfortable working from heights, tight spaces, and in feed mill conditions (dust, heat, cold)
- Forklift experience preferred (but will train the right candidate)
