Job Summary
Part-time Family Support Specialist (Case Manager) in Cambridge, MA. Responsible for delivering in-home interventions to empower families, stabilize crises, mediate family conflicts, and educate parents to enhance child care capacity. Collaborates with DCF and other professionals to strengthen support systems and referrals. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least one year of relevant case management/counseling experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and a valid driver’s license. 15-20 hours per week, fee-for-service. Focus areas include preventing out-of-home placement, promoting permanency, and providing direct family support and crisis response.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education or a related field
- Minimum of one year's experience providing case management and/or counseling services to children, adolescents and families
- Bi-lingual required (English and Spanish)
- Valid driver's license and properly insured vehicle
