Job Summary
Part-Time Faculty member for Trail Technician programs at NWACC. Teach credit, accelerated skills, workforce training, or community education offerings across classroom, lab, shop, field, hybrid, and online formats. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, industry-relevant instruction; developing and updating instructional materials and demonstrations; assessing student performance with timely feedback; ensuring safe instructional practices with equipment and field activities; and collaborating with faculty and industry partners to enhance curriculum and expand experiential learning. Availability to teach in-day, evening, weekend, and accelerated formats as program needs evolve. May teach across multiple Trail Technician disciplines (e.g., trail construction, maintenance, heavy equipment operations, welding, small engine repair) and modalities (online, hybrid, in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Relevant industry credentials, certifications, licenses, or documented professional expertise in trail construction and maintenance, heavy equipment operations, welding, or related fields
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience in the trail industry or related technical trades
