Job Summary
Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities and maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment. Complete required tasks on deadlines, including final grades, assessment grading rubrics, and input for grade appeals. Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services while providing feedback to the course lead regarding content. Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities when applicable. This part-time Dissertation Chair role supports the Department of Psychology's diverse adult student body, working closely with the Academic Program Director to ensure program quality and success.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree with a focus in couple/marriage and family therapy or related field
- PhD
- Evidence of research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article publications
- Experience with the online delivery of education and the systems that support it
- Experience as a member of a dissertation committee, preferably as the chair/advisor
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate level qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or statistics teaching experience
