Part-Time Faculty, Doctor of Business Administration, GuidedPath

Capella University seeks Part-Time Faculty to teach Doctor of Business Administration courses under GuidedPath. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum, mentoring doctoral learners, providing timely feedback within 48 hours, grading and preparing for subsequent quarters, and participating in doctoral committees. Faculty use an online learning platform to enrich the learning experience, attend faculty meetings and trainings, and travel within the US for doctoral residencies. Required skills include strong oral and written communication, expertise in academic evaluation, proficiency with academic technology and learning-management systems, effective planning and organization of course objectives, and the ability to manage potentially stressful situations professionally. Candidates should have three years of teaching experience preferred, with minimum experience requirements for undergraduate and graduate levels; all degrees must be conferred from regionally accredited institutions; a doctoral degree (or a combination of doctoral degree and MBA) is preferred. Additional duties include adhering to university policies, meeting deadlines, participating in other activities based on university needs, and providing accommodations as needed under ADA policies.
