Job Summary
Restraining dogs and cats for procedures and exams, acquiring samples, and running diagnostic tests including bloodwork and cytologies. Assist in surgical procedures, perform routine dental cleanings, and care for hospitalized patients. Prepare and assist in exam rooms while maintaining general cleaning and equipment maintenance to keep the clinic running smoothly. Candidates must be proficient at restraining both dogs and cats, possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, and be willing to be cross-trained in reception duties such as scheduling and answering phones. This role is available part-time for a small animal practice in Fairfax, VA.
