Job Summary
Interview applicants to determine eligibility for financial assistance programs and review documentation including leases, IDs, and utility bills. Calculate rental and utility assistance amounts based on established guidelines and communicate with tenants, landlords, and property managers via phone, email, and in person. Process applications for review by Program Specialists, assist with appeal requests, and conduct follow-up calls to collect data. Attend Norfolk General District Court 2-3 times weekly to explain the eviction prevention process and locate expungement records. Maintain accurate records in program tracking systems. Work approximately 24-25 hours per week with weekly pay and benefits available.

- Ability to review documentation and maintain accurate records
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in customer service, case management, housing services, social services, community outreach, intake coordination, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience reviewing documents and determining program eligibility preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
