Job Summary
English Tutor for after-school programs: tutor students in reading, writing, and literacy, leading structured, engaging sessions for small to mid-sized groups at partner schools. Responsibilities include modeling guided practice, independent work, monitoring progress through informal checks, and communicating with school staff and Concorde program coordinators. Requires minimum 60 college credits (associate degree or in progress) and strong English Language Arts skills; ideal candidates are college students studying education or English with experience working with school-age students. Sessions run 1–4 hours per week over ~10 weeks, with flexibility to lead multiple programs. Compensation starts at $50+ per instructional hour, with pay per assignment based on experience and site logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 60 college credits (Associate degree or in progress acceptable)
