Job Summary
Part-Time Embroidery Machine Operator (Suture Specialist) at FIGS. Manage in-Hub embroidery operations including setting up machines, loading designs, thread selection, hooping, trimming, packaging, and quality inspection. Track order status, communicate with the retail team, and prepare garments for customers. Oversee embroidery workflow, ensure on-time completion, and uphold embroidery quality standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate embroidery team members on machine operations, safety, and customer service. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and third-party servicing. Collaborate with store leadership and HQ teams to share trends and feedback. Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage embroidery supplies and inventory. Availability to work weekends and the holiday season is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating embroidery machines (Barudan preferred)
- Experience with single-head embroidery machines
- Technical proficiency in embroidery software (Wilcom, Pulse or equivalent)
- Proficiency with computer software for editing designs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple orders
- Willingness to work weekends and holiday periods (e.g., Black Friday)
