Part-Time Elementary Music Teacher responsible for instructing students in choral music, planning, rehearsing, and directing school performances on Mondays during the 2026-2027 school year. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Indiana Teaching License. The role emphasizes creating lesson plans, using instructional technology, fostering student engagement, aligning instruction with district/state standards, collecting assessment data, and participating in professional learning communities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
- Valid Indiana Teaching License
- Evidence of success as a highly effective classroom teacher
- Knowledge of collaborative learning teams and effective instructional practices
- Understanding of formative and summative assessments and data dissemination
- Ability to develop and maintain written lesson plans
- Experience with technology and instructional media
- Commitment to school improvement and assessment alignment
- Monetary schedule: Part-Time Mondays only during 2026-2027 school year
- Demonstrated classroom management and student conduct procedures
- Ability to collaborate with principal for performance evaluations
- Ability to implement district policies and state/federal law
