Job Summary
Conduct digital media literacy workshops and facilitate Mobile Museums of Tolerance programs in Palm Beach County 5th-12th grade classrooms and across Florida school communities. Coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth MMOT operations before, during, and after visits, while managing personal travel and lodging arrangements. Respond to inquiries regarding programming schedules and report maintenance issues or activation concerns to leadership. Collect workshop data and evaluation results, input visit statistics into regional trackers, and assist the Education Team in refining modules and teacher guides. Submit expense reports as needed and attend weekly Regional Team Meetings. This part-time role requires residing in Palm Beach County, Florida, with a valid driver's license and vehicle, and involves traveling to rural, suburban, and urban sites.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in Palm Beach County Florida
- Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle
- Have at least 1 year of teaching and/or facilitation experience
- Have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
- Must be able to travel alongside the MMOT throughout the state of Florida, including rural, suburban, and urban communities
- Must be able to communicate with driver/operator to ensure smooth operation of MMOT before, during, and after visits
- Must be able to facilitate MMOT programs at libraries and other community sites/interacting with visitors of all ages
- Must be able to respond to questions from schools/community sites about programming and daily schedules for upcoming visits
- Must be able to facilitate existing programming in an engaging and interactive manner
- Must be able to assist the Education Team on creating and providing feedback on modules, educational resources, and teachers' guides
- Must be able to report any MMOT maintenance requirements or malfunctions that occur
- Must be able to notify leadership of concerns or issues that occur during an activation
- Must be able to collect and communicate program/workshop data and evaluation results as well as contribute to data analysis with both regional and national MMOT staff
- Must be able to provide input and guidance in gathering data and experience-driven improvement strategies for modules and educational materials
- Must be able to input visit statistics into regional data tracker in a timely manner
- Must be able to submit expense reports as needed
- Must be able to manage personal travel and (accommodated) lodging arrangements
- Must be able to attend weekly Regional Team Meetings

- You are passionate about fighting against anti-Semitism, racism, and for promoting human rights and dignity
- You have experience in teaching and/or facilitating – especially with elementary, middle, and high school students – but also feel comfortable engaging with adults
- You can use good judgment and make sound decisions in a public arena, including the ability to respond appropriately to questions on the above-mentioned topics
- Possess a self-starting attitude, be ready to seize opportunities, and make an impact without oversight or specific instruction
- Timely problem-solving skills to tackle emergencies, unintended delays, and/or changes in the schedule
