Job Summary
Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Williamsport, PA area, providing hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks; supporting community participation, employment, and social activities; using adaptive tools to aid learning and communication; promoting independence; monitoring health and safety; and completing documentation and training. Offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time opportunities), weekly pay, a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement. Requires compassion and reliability; driving is often needed for transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
- Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — we provide paid training and support
