Job Summary
Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Lebanon, PA. Provides hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to help with activities of daily living, community participation, and behavioral support. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with meal preparation and hygiene, supporting community participation and employment, aiding learning and communication with adaptive tools, promoting independence, monitoring health and safety, coordinating with team and families, and completing documentation and ongoing training. Starting pay is $20-$25 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after averaging 20+ hours/week; benefits include flexible schedules, weekly pay, training, opportunities for advancement, and eligibility for medical/dental/401(k) based on hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to address personal care needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities not required — paid training provided
