Job Summary
Part-time Driver for The Bridge Family Center's Quality Parenting Center in Cromwell, CT. Responsible for providing reliable transportation for children and/or families to scheduled visits, maintaining communication with the Program Director and scheduler, reporting safety concerns, submitting monthly vehicle maintenance documentation, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and addressing passenger needs. Must hold a valid CT driver’s license with a clean driving record and be at least 21 years old. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred to meet client needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; experience with children and families strongly preferred. Certifications such as Adult/Child CPR & First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Visit Coaching Model Training, and additional DCF trainings may be obtained after hire. Schedule includes Sundays 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with potential for additional shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Driver’s License
- clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bilingual Spanish/English speaking preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with children and families strongly preferred
- CPR & First Aid certification or eligibility to obtain after hire
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training or eligibility to obtain after hire
- Visit Coaching Model Training or eligibility to obtain after hire
- DCF trainings as determined by the program
