Job Summary
Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days and transport cars between auction premises, customer dealerships, and businesses while adhering to safety rules and defensive driving principles. Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed, move vehicles as necessary, locate lost vehicles, and assist with getting vehicles operating. Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank if needed, notifying the supervisor or service truck driver when a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas. Assist customers and coworkers as required, visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety procedures, and perform other duties as assigned by management. Work Monday through Friday during specified morning hours with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 1-15 pounds
- Close, distance, and color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must be available for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm
- Must be available for Thursday and Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
- Must be able to walk long distances
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
- Must be able to enter and exit vehicles constantly
- Must be able to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
