Job Summary
This part-time Driver I position involves the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on auction property. The role includes driving vehicles to and from auction lots and customer businesses, ensuring compliance with auction driving rules and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include assisting customers and coworkers, locating vehicles, performing basic maintenance actions such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles, and actively participating in safety activities. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be able to meet physical demands, and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to walk long distances
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Previous auction experience
